ROBERT “NATION” BOOTHE (Producer) graduated from Point Park University with an BFA in Musical Theater and then moved to NYC to begin his career. He traveled the United States and Europe, performing in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, West Side Story, Oklahoma and Rugrats Live. Particular highlights include performing on the Radio City Musical Hall stage and the Today Show. Nation has been on an adventure co-producing this anything but ordinary production with Megan. He recently directed and choreographed MTG’s The Marvelous Wonderettes and 9 to 5 The Musical.
MEGAN FLANNERY (Producer) is excited you’ve come to support community theatre! She is no stranger to Butler theatre and has worked on several MTG, Butler Little Theatre, and hobnob theatre company productions over the past decade. Megan most recently appeared in BLT’s production of Constellations. Some favorite shows include 9 to 5 The Musical, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Next to Normal, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Assassins, Crimes of the Heart, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Rocky Horror Show, Grease, and A Woman of No Importance. By day, she works a ‘9 to 5’ as an Executive Assistant and Team Sr. Specialist at The Boston Consulting Group. In her spare time, Megan enjoys doing anything that keeps her in the company of her husband Zach (v handsome), their dog Gibson (v Bernedoodle), and family & friends.
JAYCIE FRYE (Deb) is happy to return to the MTG stage. She has been entertaining audiences on stage since she was twelve and has been part of MTG’s productions of 9 to 5 The Musical, Company, and The Marvelous Wonderettes. She hopes to continue to be involved with MTG and community theatre in the future. She, Zach, and their three cats live in Ellwood City.
MATT LESLIE (Jason) is thankful for the opportunity to perform with MTG once again! No stranger to the stage, Matt has been active in local theatre for years. A few recent favorites include Bob Cratchet in hobnob theatre company’s adaptation of A Christmas Carol at the Penn Theater this past December, Georgie in the BLT’s The Last Mass at St. Casimir’s, Charles Guiteau in MTG’s Assassins, and Paul in Riverfront Theatre Co.’s production of Company. Matt can also be found singing at Orchard Hill Church Butler most Sundays. It’s an honor to work with friends and theatre family on this beautiful show.
SOFIE MARINO (Understudy)
MATT MLYNARSKI (Director) is so thrilled to be back directing this fantastic musical with his friends at MTG. His “home” theatre is The Theatre Factory, where he currently serves as the Artistic Director and board member. He has a BA in Theatre Performance from Seton Hill University where his studies focused on acting and directing. A few of Matt’s most memorable shows include Bat Boy, Beauty and the Beast, Wonder of the World, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Heathers, Dog Sees God…, Company, and She Kills Monsters. He would like to thank the cast and crew for a great run!
PAULINA NEUSCHWANDER (Claire)
JEREMY POYNTON (Warren) is an actor and musician originally from Illinois, where he studied at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He has performed at a variety of community theaters around Pittsburgh, including the Geyer, Greensburg Civic, Heritage Players, and Theatre Factory. He is excited to be a part of his first production with MTG!
JESSICA SANZOTTI (Music Director) is honored to work with this amazingly talented cast and production staff. She has been involved in MTG since she was a teenager and loves working with her theatre family (often times they are also actual family members). Jessica’s other jobs include Sr. Marketing Business Partner at Athletico Physical Therapy and church musician Trinity Lutheran Church. Jessica is so glad that you are supporting local arts and hopes you enjoy the show!
