PhilB

PHILLIP BALL (Professor Ted Scheider) has been a long-standing volunteer in the Butler theatre community as a performer, director, and technician. For MTG, some of his performances include The Music Man, City of Angels, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He has also directed The Baker’s Wife, The Rocky Horror Show, and Assassins.

MTG has been a hub for many of his longtime friendships and creative connections, and he’s grateful to be part of a community that offers so many opportunities to perform and entertain.

In Disaster!, Phillip is fully embracing his role  — so if things get a little out of control… just know that’s not the character, that’s Phil.

JERRY JOHNSTON (Tony Delvecchio) has been involved with MTG for more than half a century — onstage, backstage, and as a board member. Along the way, he’s had a great time pretending to be a New York gambler, a member of the Continental Congress, a Russian farmer, a Roman husband, a flower shop owner, and even one of the Marx Brothers, among many other characters. He’s especially excited to share the stage in Disaster! with his wife, Denise.

As Tony Delvecchio, Jerry is ready to bring a little extra swagger, charm, and just enough questionable decision-making to keep things interesting.
